There is an epidemic of inadequate sleep among teens. This has both short and long-term negative effects from impaired cognitive function to decreased growth to an increased risk for Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease.
From one teen to another: it's time for teens to wake up to the need for sleep!

More than 1/2 of US teenagers are chronically sleep deprived.
